You can personalize your Account Summary page by selecting the box (or boxes) you would like to display.
Note: If an account is added in the future that is in one of the hidden account boxes and you would like to display that account, simply follow Step 3 above.
Your Courtesy Overdraft selections determine what options are available when an item is presented for payment against an account with insufficient funds or a negative balance. You can opt-in to permit overdrafts to be paid for ATM and Everyday Debit Card Transactions and/or Checks and Other Transactions. If you opt-in, BBVA Compass may choose to pay an overdraft, and you may incur service charges for any overdrafts that are paid. If you opt-out, items presented against insufficient funds will be declined and you will avoid any service charges associated with overdraft items being paid; however, you can still be charged fees as a result of the item being returned due to insufficient available funds.
You can order new checks through the Service Center when you sign in to Online Banking.
To connect to your Online Banking accounts using Quicken® or QuickBooks® to download transactions, download balance or submit transfers and Bill Payments, you must register the connection with the software. Registering the software connection adds an additional level of security to the connection, furthering the privacy and security of your account information. Using the following steps, you will allow your Quicken® or QuickBooks® installation to connect to BBVA Compass.
You will also use these steps to resister connections with other financial management programs that use the same connection as Quicken®. That includes but is not limited to Mint and iBank.
You will complete the software registration steps anytime you do one of the following with your Quicken® or QuickBooks®.
Yes, you should remove a registered software connection any time you stop using a specific connection. For example, if you change to a new computer or have an old data file within your Quicken® or QuickBooks® you will no longer use to connect to BBVA Compass.
You can access information regarding your Simple Cash Back offers, including Recent Offers where you can activate, show or hide offers, Recent Earnings where you can view your rewards earned, FAQ where you can learn more about this rewards program, and Preferences where you can opt in or out of receiving program offers.
You can order new checks through the Service Center when you sign in to Online Banking. This option should be used when check copies and statement copies are not available in your account transaction history.
For each Stop Payment you request, you will be charged a non-refundable fee of $25.
If an item is presented to us for payment within 24 hours after you place the stop payment request on that item, we may be unable to stop payment and the item may be paid.
If an item for which you placed a stop payment request is paid within the 24 hours, you must pay the amount of the check, the stop payment request fee and any other fees associated with that item.
Requests received before 11:30 p.m. CST on a business day will be processed on the same day. Requests received after 11:30 p.m. CST on any business day or any time on a non—business day, will be processed on the next business day.
Unless canceled, each Stop Payment request will remain in effect for 2 years.
You can view your Stop Payment requests by choosing Stop Payment Summary in the Stop Payments box in the Service Center.
You can manage external accounts that you may have linked to a BBVA Compass account, such as credit cards, mortgage accounts, investment accounts and more.
