Mobile Banking Updates

Amendment To The BBVA Compass Mobile Banking Terms Of Use Agreement

Effective Date: July 24, 2017

  • Section 1 (“General Terms of Use”) has been amended to add information about changes, notice, confidentiality, and governing law. It has been updated with the alert cancellation procedures for international mobile numbers.
  • Section 2 (“Mobile Deposit”) has been updated to add the word “mobile” to the endorsement required on all checks submitted through the Mobile Deposit service.
  • Section 4 (“International Transfers”) has been updated with the terms for using that service in Mobile Banking.
  • Section 11 (“ACH Payments for Commercial Accounts”) has been updated to reflect that we may correct and resubmit an ACH transfer if we receive a notice of correction.

Effective Date: December 11, 2015

  • Section 1 (“General Terms of Use”) has been amended to add information about authorized users for business profiles and to reiterate terms governing error resolution and liability for consumer and commercial accounts.
  • Former section 2 (“Consent to Receive Electronic Communications”) has been removed from the Terms of Use and is covered in the Electronic Communications Agreement.
  • Section 10 (“Wire Transfers for Commercial Accounts”) has been added to reflect the terms governing use of that service.
  • Section 11 (“ACH Payments for Commercial Accounts”) has been added to reflect the terms governing use of that service.
  • Section 13 (“Fee Schedule”) has been updated to include fees associated with the wire transfer service for commercial accounts and the ACH payment service for commercial accounts. The updated Fee Schedule also includes the current charge for paper copies of statements and checks.

Effective Date: July 24, 2015

  • Section 3 ("Mobile Deposit") has been amended to reflect the potential for holds up to 5 business days on check funds deposited via the Mobile Banking application.
