Important Information about your New Account

Consumer checking accounts opened online through bbvacompass.com from May 4, 2012 to December 31, 2012, may be eligible for a new account bonus. Please review the following information to understand how to qualify for a bonus.

Within sixty (60) days of account opening, the accountholder must meet at least one of the following requirements: (1) receive at least one qualifying direct deposit of at least $300 from an unrelated third party; OR (2) make three (3) online bill payments of at least $50 each to unrelated third parties through the BBVA Compass Online Banking with Bill Pay service. Transfers made from PayPal, ING Direct, or from accounts owned by the customer (or related parties) at other financial institutions do not qualify. Online bill payments must be processed electronically and completed by the deadline. Payments made by check or person to person (P2P) payments do not qualify. Payments made by a third party debiting your account do not qualify.

The checking account must remain open for at least six (6) months after account opening or will be debited for the amount of the bonus received. The $100 bonus will be deposited into the checking account within 90 to 120 days of meeting the eligibility requirements. Account must be open and in good standing at time of payment to receive the bonus.

Account must be opened online. Offer valid only for new consumer checking customers who have not had an existing BBVA Compass consumer checking account within the last 90 days. BBVA Compass employees and household members are not eligible. There is a maximum of one (1) $100 bonus per household. Offer not valid with any other offer and is subject to change without notice.
