Using Microsoft Money with Online Banking discontinued
Microsoft® has informed us they are discontinuing online connectivity support with all versions of Microsoft Money®. In order to continue to connect using financial management software, you will need to convert to Quicken® software before January 31, 2011.
Even though this change is beyond our control at BBVA Compass, we want to do whatever we can to help make this transition easier for you. So we've gathered some information that we thought might be helpful:
- For more information on why this change is occurring: see Microsoft's list of frequently asked questions.
- If you would like to convert to Quicken: Intuit, the maker of Quicken, would like to make transitioning as simple as possible for you.
- Converting is easy – Quicken 2011 automatically reads your existing data file.
- Order Quicken directly from Intuit – you can get free shipping and free installation assistance.
- Download instructions to convert your existing transaction data to Quicken® from Microsoft Money®.
- Once enrolled in Online Banking, you will configure Quicken® to connect to BBVA Compass. You can use the data to generate charts, graphs and reports that'll help you analyze your financial situation and manage your budget.
- If you do not want to convert to Quicken: consider using Online Banking via the Web. It offers many of the same benefits of Online Banking with Microsoft Money® without separate money management software and can be accessed with your User ID and Password. There's no need to upgrade!
