Important News for CompassPC and Quicken for Mac 2001 and higher Users

We hope using Quicken for Mac with CompassPC makes managing your finances easier. We want you to know that on May 8, 2001, some changes were made to the CompassPC online banking service, including access to a new service platform to deliver online banking data. This platform is supported in your Quicken for Mac software.

Beginning January 1, 2003, CompassPC can only be accessed through this new platform. To continue online banking with Quicken for Mac and CompassPC, you need to be sure you are connecting to this new platform.

How can you tell? Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Open your Quicken for Mac program
  2. From the Lists menu, select Accounts
  3. In your List of Accounts, select the Compass account that is enabled for online access
  4. Click the Edit button
  5. In the Edit Account window, click the Edit Online Access button
  6. In the Enable Online Access window, the Financial Institution name will be listed as either Compass  Old or Compass  New

If your Financial Institution is shown as Compass  New, then youre all set.

If your Financial Institution is shown as Compass  Old, you need to migrate to Compass  New by December 31, 2002. Please read the information about migrating to the Compass  New platform.

There will be minor changes to your CompassPC service when you migrate to this new platform. Be sure to read the important information on CompassPC service changes.
