- No fee to use another bank’s ATM
With this feature, BBVA Compass will not charge you a fee if you use another bank’s ATM.
- Rebates of other banks’ ATM fees
With this feature, BBVA Compass will rebate the ATM fees another bank might charge you when you withdraw money. Learn more about ATM fee rebates.
- Earn interest on your balance
If you selected this feature, you’ll earn interest on your account — calculated daily and credited monthly. See full disclosure or ask a BBVA Compass Banker for current interest rates.
- Double Visa Extras Rewards points
You normally earn one point for every dollar spent on a Qualifying Purchase* with your Visa Check Card when you enroll at visaextras.com. With this feature selected, you’ll earn two points for every dollar spent on Qualifying Purchases. You’ll earn your standard Visa Extra Rewards points. Then BBVA Compass will regularly match those points, giving you double the rewards.
- Cash back rewards on check card purchases
This feature allows you to earn 5¢ for every Qualifying Purchase*, such as a signature-based purchase or an Internet purchase. You also earn 5¢ for every two PIN-based purchases.
- $25 anniversary cash bonus
This feature gives you up to a $25 bonus on your account anniversary as our way of saying “thank you” for banking with us. This feature is paid on a prorated basis 12 months from the date you opened your account. See full disclosure.
- One overdraft fee forgiveness refund per year
If you select this feature, BBVA Compass will rebate one standard overdraft/NSF charge per year.

*"Qualifying Purchase" is any signature-based purchase, Internet purchase, phone or mail-order purchase, bill payment, contactless purchase (purchases made by holding your Visa card or other device up to a secure reader instead of swiping your card), or small dollar purchase for which you are not required to sign, made with an enrolled Visa card, which is processed or submitted through the Visa U.S.A. Inc. payment system. A Qualifying Purchase does not include a purchase made using a Personal Identification Number (PIN) or purchase you initiate through identification technology that substitutes for a PIN.
