Getting Started
Simply download the BBVA Compass Mobile app from the application store*† or iTunes.® Search for BBVA Compass, or text the word iphone to 4BBVA (42282).
Sign on to Compass Mobile Banking* with your Online Banking username and password. Don’t have one yet? Simply use your debit card and PIN to activate a username all from your mobile phone.

Summary Tab
Previous | NextThe Summary icon displays pie charts of percentage totals, as well as balances and other information for each of your online accounts.
There are three sections: Deposit Accounts, Credit Accounts, and Posted Transactions.
Use your finger to scroll the page up and down to display more information.
Accounts Tab
Previous | NextClick the Accounts icon to view balance information regarding online accounts. Deposit Accounts then Credit Accounts are viewable.
Use your finger to scroll the page up and down to display more information.
Select an individual account to view transaction history. If any Pending Transactions are available they are shown first, then Posted Transactions. Check images are also viewable on Posted Transactions from the transaction history screen.
Transfer Tab
Previous | NextClick the Transfer icon to transfer money from one account to another account.
- Choose the "From" account and the "To" account for the money transfer
- Enter the transfer amount in dollars and cents
- Click the Transfer button
Note: The dollar sign is not required in the amount field.
Mobile Bill Pay
Previous | NextNote: You must be enrolled in Online Banking Bill Payments in order to use Mobile Bill Payments. If you are not enrolled in Online Bill Pay, the Payment icon will not be displayed.
After selecting the Payments icon, it is possible to make a new payment or view existing payments.
To make a new payment select the following:
- From which account you will be funding the payment
- To which biller you will send the payment
- Entering the dollar amount to pay
- Choose a Pay Date
Mobile Bill Payment Details
Previous | NextA Confirm Bill Payment screen displays.
If an expedited payment date is selected, the payment fee will specify the dollar amount. To avoid the fee, select the Back arrow at the top and choose another date.
Click the Confirm button to confirm the mobile payment information and schedule the bill payment.
