Attention: Due to a recent Online Banking upgrade, some users may not have access to MyCompass.

We’ve collected some of our most frequently asked customer service and technical questions to help you resolve potential problems and get your questions answered as quickly as possible.

General Questions

How do I access MyCompass?

Go to MyCompass by clicking the tab at the top right of the Online Banking screen. Since MyCompass is securely located within Online Banking, you never have to remember additional usernames or passwords.

Can I add my Online Banking service to MyCompass?

Yes, you can add your Online Banking service to MyCompass and your BBVA Compass accounts will be totaled in with your other financial accounts in My Balances and Net Worth. Have more than one Online Banking service? You can add them all to MyCompass!

How do I sign off my Online Banking account?

You never need to sign off MyCompass. We automatically sign you off whenever you move to another section in Online Banking. Or you can click the Online Banking Sign Off tab to sign off from both Online Banking and MyCompass.

Where do my MyCompass Alerts go?

We use the same e-mail address for Online Banking Alerts and MyCompass Account Activity Alerts. To change an e-mail address for your MyCompass Alerts, you'll need to go to the Service Center tab in Online Banking and click on the Add or Change E-Mail Address link.

How can I close a MyCompass account?

You can close your MyCompass service online. From Online Banking, click on the MyCompass tab and select the Customize MyCompass link. At the bottom of the next screen you will see a Cancel MyCompass option.

Or send us an e-mail, including the e-mail address you have established as your Primary E-Mail Address in Online Banking, to mycompass@bbvacompass.com. We will close your account for you. Do not include your password in this e-mail.

What happens when I close a MyCompass account?

All your information is immediately deleted from the MyCompass service, and access to that MyCompass account is removed from all Online Banking services.

How can I verify my current MyCompass e-mail address?

From Online Banking, click on the MyCompass tab and select the Customize MyCompass link. Next, click on Set-up/Edit Alert Settings. Your current MyCompass e-mail address will be displayed.

How can I verify my current Online Banking e-mail address?

Sign on to Online Banking. Click the Service Center tab, then the Add or Change E-mail Address link. Your current Online Banking e-mail address will be displayed.

Can I access a MyCompass service from more than one Online Banking service?

Yes. You can set up a MyCompass account for access through more than one Online Banking service..
