If you have a BBVA Compass personal checking, savings or money market account tied to an ATM or Check Card, you can start using Online Banking right away. Our easy-to-follow activation process gives you step-by-step instructions on how to get started. You will need to have your ATM or Check Card number available.

If you activate your service with your ATM or Check Card, you'll be able to view the account balances of the accounts tied to your ATM or Check Card right away. On the following business day, you will also be able to view your account history as far back as your last monthly statement. You can activate Online Bill Pay as soon as you've activated Online Banking and start paying bills right away.

You can sign on to Online Banking immediately if you have the following:

1. Our requirement for online banking and bill pay is a browser with 128-bit encryption.

Yes. You can use it by itself via the Web, or access it with the current versions of Quicken for Windows or Quicken for Mac (The three most recent versions of Quicken are supported). In fact, you can use it both ways with the same User ID and Password.
