What Trusteer’s Rapport Does

Trusteer Rapport secures communications between your computer system and our site to help prevent malware or fraudulent websites from obtaining your username, password and other sensitive login information. Rapport is not designed to replace your existing protection; it actually works with your existing antivirus software and firewall to enhance your overall online security. You may also use Rapport to protect you while on sites other than BBVA Compass. Please refer to the FAQ section for details.

How to Get Trusteer’s Rapport Software

Simply download and install the Rapport plug-in for Windows or Mac. The program takes only a few seconds to install and should not slow or adversely affect the performance of your computer. Instead, it will give you greater peace of mind knowing this state-of-the-art software is helping protect you while you are online with BBVA Compass.

Trusteer Rapport software is set up to protect you when you access the following sites:

Rapport can also provide protection at other participating financial sites; generally a green icon will appear in your browser’s header indicating that the website is protected by Rapport. If you see a gray icon, it means the site is not currently being protected. You can click on the icon and select "Protect this Website" to enable Rapport protection.
