Contributions

Compass supports local, regional and statewide community initiatives by providing financial assistance to non-profit organizations that are making a positive impact in communities. For the combined years 2005 and 2006, Compass donated a total of more than $10 million dollars to support organizations such as the United Way, fine arts programs, local historical societies, urban leagues, hospital foundations, medical research and emergency funding for victims of natural disasters.

Community Involvement

Compass Bank employees are encouraged to be involved in their communities and to donate their time and expertise to organizations throughout the Compass Bank footprint. The mission of these organizations varies from those that provide social services such as clothing, food and shelter, to those that conduct medical research or promote the arts.

Compass Bank considers all acts of volunteerism to be important to our communities. Our employees donate thousands of hours each year, often serving in very high-level roles, to assist these organizations in accomplishing its mission.
