CompassWorks for Business®
CompassWorks for Business is for you if you need a lot of accounts, both personal and business, but not a lot of fees. It gives you all the personal and business accounts you need, and then lets you use combined balances to offset fees. Here's how it works:
For your business you get:
- Business checking with no monthly fee or transaction charges if minimum balance requirements are met and with up to 1,000 items processed free each month.*
- Preferred Money Market for Business Account with no monthly fee.
- Overdraft protection on your business checking account.**
- Free Visa® Business Check Card.
- Compass Bank Visa Business Credit Card with no annual fee.**
- Free Compass BusinessClass Online® and bill pay.
- Express approval and simplified application process on business credit applications.
And for you:
- Two personal CompassClub checking accounts with lots of extras, no monthly maintenance fee and no big opening deposit requirement.
- Free personalized checks, travelers checks, and cashier's checks.
- Compass Bank Visa® Gold Credit Card with no annual fee.**
- Free personal Visa Check Card and overdraft protection.**
To avoid a monthly maintenance fee:
- Maintain at least a $7,500 average daily collected balance in your business checking account;
or
- Maintain at least a $25,000 average daily collected balance in a combination of your business and personal interest bearing accounts (excluding CDs).
*With a generous activity allowance of 1000 free items per month, chances are you won't have to worry about activity charges. But just in case you do, it's only $1.00 more for each additional item.
